I was reading in another topic how the dates on these posts are all  wrong, because of the website being created in France, or something to that effect. While I don't understand exactly why there is such a discrepancy in the dates, we can help each other by posting the real date at the top of our posts.

When I was reading everything earlier tonight, I couldn't figure out why everyone was posting all the way back in May when I only just noticed the forum tonight. (and I check Jon's site almost daily). Now I know it is just because they dates are wrong.

But, if we all get in the habit of dating our posts (and maybe even the time of day), I know it will be a huge help.

Thanks!
Sandy Gulliver (new here; hi everyone!)

Hi Sandy!

Great idea!  Welcome to this great (and sometimes Wacky) site. It is a fun forum to chit chat and gain new views (and some laughs!).

Hope to work with you again soon and see your new "coiffure"!

I don't know if you guys have noticed this already since the last post, but the dates are actually correct... The month and the day are just inverted. Normally, for example, we would list month/day/year, and these are just day/month/year.

Anyway, you probably already noticed that!

That's the way they do it in Europe.

In the beginning days of this forum, the dates were off by about five months. They got corrected shortly after that, either by Jon's intervention or who knows what else.

While the dates were wrong, the early posters got in the habit of dating their posts, but that has not been necessary for a month or so now.

Actually I meant to say the dates are listed military style.  Month, date and year.

It seems to have corrected itself.
