i actually found it showing at a few places around Chi-town. . . including Warrenville, Borbonnaise, and Evanston at www.moviefone.com. Went today, but FOUND "Battle For Terra in 3D" showing there and went to that instead:/ so will have to see this one later! Sounds like a good movie, at least it says the main character moves to Chicago, anywayz!!! LES --Last edited by moviestar on 2009-05-04 21:14:26 -- |

Folks, i'm very happy to have the honor of being the guy who finally writes a review of this wonderful Chicago Film Production Pic!!!!! From the main credits at the beginning which are absolutley filled with Chicago friends and neighbors all through practically every single scene featuring all aspects of our fine city, this movie is in every way a local BLOCKBUSTER!!!!! Some of my favorite scenes as i write this aren't even for the local actors doing their acting RATHER for the shots up and down along Milwaukee Street and along the river and railroad tracks all around downtown. I couln't begin to tell you how may times I almost literally screamed; hey that's City Hall!!! Or, "They're standing right in front of The Federal Building on Deerborn!!!!!" I don't care what other people say I LOVE sitting in the movie theatre munching on my popcorn and in this case Junior Mints and seeing big wonderful Chi-Town up there on the silver screen. There's practically never no end to my excitement as they drive up and down Clark Street with the Metra train rolling past behind them in the background!!! Actually one of the stars even boarded a CTA train at least once, too!!! And the movie is ok, too!!! Without giving away all the guys I know personally. . . you will have to see it so you, too, can scream somebodies name out loud with a mouth full of popcorn like i did at that Canera Theatre just off of I-88. (you can see it from the Eastbound exit ramp at Winfield Road) Sorry, I'm not going to say whose name was up there on the screen 30 Feet tall. . . maybe somebody else wants them honors! Loved "The Merry Gentleman" and it stars Michael Keaton, who at one time was a great Batman, too! Probably many other including undoubtably a lot of our own Chicago Actors, too!!! Does anybody know any of them, there??? Moviestar |
