Local S.E Wisconsin Resident’s Bring Film to Life

Kenosha WI, July 09th 2007 - Local residents, Matt Romano and Brent Allen Caputo, Direct and Produce a film written by 18 year old Matt Romano.

“Haunted” the film was once a simple story written on paper. Today, a year and a half later it has become the talk of the town. “Haunted” is backed with over 20 years of combined experience amongst the cast and crew that have prior experience working with major projects throughout the entertainment industry.

R-Aftermath Productions is handling the majority of the production for “Haunted”. R-Aftermath is located in Paddock Lake, Wi at Westosha Music and Video Production Studio.

The story of “Haunted” started in 1948 with a homicide. A psychotic son by the name of Hanson (Brent Allen Caputo, Prison Break and E.R.) murdered his family and killed himself. Now in present day times, a young man by the name of Greg (Matt Romano, Outdoor Wild and Quake) is raising his little sister Samantha (Diana Penglase) and plans to visit the last of their family.

In route, Greg and Samantha find themselves in midst of a terrible car accident. Lucky for them everybody is ok, but the twist and turns that happen afterwards will unfold a legend that has kept this little town in a decade of darkness.

“Everyone has demons inside, but it’s how they control them and what they do with them that will make a difference on everyone’s lives in this little town.”

Hello Everyone,

An update on Haunted the film. We are moving faster than expected and the downtown scene were we need at least 150 extras will be coming before you know it. So for those interested on finding any information on what we are looking for please go to the official website.
www.hauntedthefilm.com

The era is 1948, so think in that era and you'd most likely be the background throughout the entire day for all the scenes, since the production and I plan for tight shoot while the actors are in the scenes and then the in between filler shots we will be scanning the entire downtown area as people are doing what downtown people do on a daily routine.

This is going to be a one day shoot.  Half the extras are in the early morning and the other half will be around noon or so.

I will keep you posted whenever possible, but the most up to date will be the website itself. Any questions or if you or someone you know is interested in taking part in this full length feature than go to the website and send us the info under the contact us section. Thanks Jon and all those who help make filming fun!

Thanks everyone for your submissions.

We have had a busy week thus far since the MEDIA has caught onto the story of Haunted being filmed in New Munster, WI on the 27h of this month.

The first ever road closing for a student full length feature!

Yeah, its approved and it's hitting the news hardcore.

I am proud of lot of the people I meet onset. I sit and listen to where people want to go in life nd what they have planned for their own future and one thing I know for sure is that when an opportunity comes along, it is time to latch onto it.

This film is going better than anyone, even myself, has ever imagined it would.

Like Jon, with starting his casting look how successful he is. Imagine if he never started casting on his own, I don't think having a dream and setting goals are bad and if it weren't for dreams and goals Jon wouldn't of been doing what he wants, Casting.

I would like people to know that Haunted may not be a paying gig, but it is a great opportunity to get your name in the credits and to add another project to your experience.

The news reporter from Kenosha News is going to be there on the 27th and who knows who they are going to talk to.

MAtt Romano is the writer of Haunted and between him and myself we plan on making Haunted a fun experience, without that stuck up, better than anyone else attitude that some people have when you try to talk to them. Remember what goes around comes around.

Thanks Jon for NOT being the type to favor one person over another.

See you at the TOP of the success ladder everyone!

Extras make the movie what it is, they are people who have family and friends and most importantly Dreams!

Stand-in's are also extras that simply get paid more, those that think they are better than the rest of the extras while doing stand-in work don't stay long.

~Brent

Thanks to everyone who asked me not to give their names out because you wanted to stil take part in Haunted the film. It's nice to see people who really care about the film and television industry so much that they'd do anything to keep their dreams alive.

I'm learning alot more than people think while I'm onset. I observe what the cast and crew do and how they react to situations and it's a wonder more people don't get involved in this great line of work.

Jon, sorry I missed your call the last night, I was in a production meeting which felt like days, but really was 3 1/2 hours. lol

I had the website for Haunted updated a great deal. Check it out.

Thank for the great shoot yesturday everyone. As many may of found out that the writer changed the amount of extras to be 25- 30 from the 100 or so he original asked for due to the D.P. that we hired to use tighter shots. It actually worked out for the best. I know we called a few people back from the Chicago market and they showed up and proved that the BG talent can make good on their word. We also had a few new BG talent from around Wisconsin n the nearby towns and then the lead actress came all the way from Green Bay to shoot part of her scene and off to a Holloween party. We also met a new actress that shot her first few scenes of the film and then our new Raven was seen in a few sshots, he is the bully of the town.

I am glad the list of BG ended up being what it was. Matt(the writer) and I left the set with such good vibes from the BG talent, cast and crew that we are planning on using much of the same people for another idea for the film. So Thank everyone for playing such an important part in our film. I will post updates on the Haunted film as soon as they come in.

Special Thanks for Jon and other agencies that sent the casting notice(s) up for backgrund talent for Haunted. We actually cast two of our cast members from a referal from one agency. That what this industry is all about. We are all in this industry  together.

Haunted the  film and deep into the woods is on hold from filming for the Holidays. We will resume filming and casting after January 08th 2008.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone.

Stay tuned for the casting of the following coing in 2008

A)Music Video- We will be casting 75 extras for a rock video for a song based on the film: Haunted

B)Haunted I ( aka Haunted The Legend) - We added a cast member or two and we are in the mist of designing a comic book for based on the film.

C)Haunted II ( aka Haunted The Prophecy) - We are working on the scrïpt for the second film for Haunted. This will be great for those who did not have the chance to take part inthe first film. We have alot of brand new characters and some of the old ones will be brought back to make a film that will be just as good or better than the first.

D)Promotions and Modeling - We are looking for Male and Female models to sport the Haunted gear and to attend venues that hold band auditions and other venues were crowds gather. More info on this fine opportunity will be on the website. We will be hand selecting these models ourselves.

E)We just added an original trailer for Haunted on the following site:www.hauntedthefilm.com

Until we return have a safe Holiday season!
